By accessing or using OptionsLab (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. The Platform is intended for sophisticated users with knowledge of financial markets and automated trading systems.

2. Nature of the Platform

OptionsLab is a software platform that connects trading signals (e.g. TradingView alerts) to brokerage execution APIs (e.g. Interactive Brokers). It does not provide investment advice, financial planning, portfolio management, or brokerage services. All trading decisions and outcomes are solely your responsibility.

3. No Financial Advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security, derivative, or financial instrument. Past performance of any strategy configured through the Platform is not indicative of future results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All trades executed through your configured brokerage connections
• Maintaining the security of your credentials and API keys
• Configuring risk controls (kill switch, position limits, daily loss thresholds)
• Compliance with applicable laws, brokerage agreements, and exchange rules
• Reviewing and testing all automations before deploying them with real capital

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for market manipulation or any unlawful trading activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Platform's security
• Share access credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use the Platform in violation of your brokerage's terms of service

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected in a timely manner.

Market connectivity, order routing, and execution depend on third-party services (IBKR, TradingView, etc.) that are outside our control. We assume no liability for outages, delays, or errors originating from those services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OptionsLab and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to trading losses, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OptionsLab and its contributors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
